The idea for LeBox© and LeBench© actually came from my mother. While visiting her home in 1997, we needed to run some errands. Just as we were about to leave, she remembered a package was to be delivered and decided she should be at home when the carrier arrived. She was worried that if the carrier left the package on the porch, it would get wet from the rain. At that time she commented the need for a receptacle whereby packages being delivered could be placed in the box. They would be out of the weather and out of sight of people passing by. The idea of a box on the porch for deliveries continued to be on my mind. After thinking about it and giving much consideration to the possibility of building a box that people would be able to use as a safe place for delivered goods, I started sketching different shapes and sizes. Since the box would be on the porch, the idea for a bench came to mind. Why not a bench that could be used in the house as well. So after four years of thought and design, we offer you what we believe is one of the most unique and versatile pieces of furniture made. We offer two different products: LeBox© which originally was designed for home deliveries and LeBench© which can also be used for home deliveries but has a multitude of other uses.
