A typical air conditioning unit is at ground level where damage from bicycles, basketballs, vehicles, and retail foot traffic, etc can result in expensive repairs and an unsightly unit.

 The optional Yates Debris Screens are an affordable solution to those costly air conditioning cleaning bills. These fine mesh screens trap leaves, grass clippings, cotton seedpods and other debris before entering the cooling coils. You save money by not having to pay a heat & air company for a service call to take your air conditioner apart and clean it.

The Yates Debris Screens easily slide in through slots on top of each side of your Yates Enclosure, where your cooling coils are exposed. For cleaning, all you have to do is remove the screens from the top, clean them with water and reinsert. It's that easy!
By using the Yates Debris Screens in conjunction with your Yates Protective Enclosure, you will save on costly repair and cleaning calls - in addition to having a more efficient running air unit!

Yates offers "different size / same price" on our enclosures for all units 1 to 5 ton. That means no complicated pricing structures that differs from one size air unit to another. Our pricing structure is especially attractive to appartment, office-space and other multi-unit environment owners/managers. The 2 ton unit is the most common, but we will be glad to quote units larger than 5 tons.
